
Seven Years of iMpower: Building a Future for the People Behind India’s Growth
How M3M Foundation’s first flagship initiative grew from one community centre in Gurugram into a seven-year movement reaching thousands of children, women and families across five states. There are initiatives that begin with a programme. And then there are initiatives that begin with a question. For M3M Foundation, that question was simple but significant: if India’s cities are growing with the contribution of migrant workers and underserved communities, who is making sure their families and children are able to grow with them? The answer began taking shape in 2019 with iMpower—M3M Foundation’s first flagship initiative. Its purpose was never limited to putting children into classrooms.
