Spreading Festive Joy: CityKart’s Give Back to the Community Initiative”

CSR activities for social impact 2025

31st March 2025: In a heartfelt display of social responsibility, CityKart, a leading retail brand, has successfully executed a series of impactful CSR initiatives, benefiting communities across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and other regions of India. As part of the company’s “Give Back to the Community” campaign, CityKart distributed essential supplies to underprivileged families during the Holi & Eid.

During Holi, CityKart launched its first initiative, distributing Gujiya boxes in cities such as Varanasi, Allahabad, and Lucknow, ensuring that families who may not have had the means to celebrate could still partake in the joyous occasion.

The initiative continued with Iftar box distributions during Eid in cities like Muzaffarpur, Siwan, and Kishanganj, along with 15+ additional locations in Bihar, spreading unity and festive joy among local communities.

“These activities reflect CityKart’s enduring commitment to social welfare and our ongoing support for communities in need, particularly during significant festive moments. We’re proud to contribute to society and ensure that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, can enjoy these special celebrations,” said Sudhanshu Agarwal, CEO & Director of CityKart.

Looking ahead, CityKart is committed to expanding its CSR impact, collaborating with NGOs focused on education, healthcare, and women’s empowerment in rural India, with plans for future initiatives aimed at further empowering local communities.
