Hero Realty Leads the Way in Building Inclusive Communities by Prioritizing Worker Welfare and Safety

Inclusive real estate projects

9th July 2025: In a sector often defined by deadlines and development, Hero Realty is setting itself apart by weaving compassion and community into the very foundation of its projects. As part of its unwavering commitment to inclusive growth, the company has taken tangible steps to ensure the well-being, dignity, and safety of its workforce, most notably through its ongoing daily meal and winter clothing distribution initiatives at its construction sites in Gurgaon and Mohali.

At the heart of this effort is Hero Realty’s Daily Meal Initiative, a program that provides wholesome lunches to over 900 construction workers every single day. Approximately 500 workers in Gurgaon and another 400 in Mohali benefit from meals designed to meet the nutritional needs of labor-intensive jobs. With a focus on fitness, sustainability, community, and creativity, this initiative reflects Hero Realty’s belief that the physical and emotional well-being of workers is fundamental to building great homes.

Complementing this year-round program is the company’s Winter Clothing Distribution Drive, launched annually to ensure that no worker faces the harsh winter without protection. From warm coats and woolens to gloves and blankets, the drive covers everyone, from masons and carpenters to security staff, underscoring a deep sense of inclusivity and empathy. Notably, the initiative also supports sustainable practices by encouraging the reuse and redistribution of gently used clothing, furthering Hero Realty’s commitment to environmentally conscious operations.

Rohit Kishore, CEO of Hero Realty, said, “At Hero Realty, we believe in building communities that care alongside building homes. Our workers are at the core of everything we do. This ethos stems from the legacy of the Hero Group, which has always prioritized people, purpose, and progress. These initiatives are a reflection of our gratitude and our responsibility towards the people who turn our vision into reality. Inclusive growth is not an afterthought; it is central to how we operate.”

By placing worker welfare at the center of its CSR philosophy, Hero Realty continues to exemplify what it means to be a truly people-first organization. Its approach goes beyond statutory compliance to embody a culture where every individual, from buyer to builder, is valued and supported. Through meaningful actions, Hero Realty is leading the way, proving that inclusive, sustainable, and humane development isn’t just possible; it’s essential.
