21st August 2025: Shri Sanjay Prakash, Managing Director, SBI Foundation, today launched the ‘SBI Sammaan – Hom(e)age to the National Heroes’ project in Sikanderpur Majra, to honor Babu Mool Chand Jain’s legacy. The one-year CSR project works towards holistic development of the village and is being implemented in partnership with Akhil Bhartiya Gramin Uthan Samiti (NGO) and with support of Gram Panchayat, Sikanderpur Majra.

‘SBI Sammaan’ is unique project series initiated with a vision to carry out developmental activities in the native places of renowned freedom fighters, war veterans and public heroes. While the word ‘Sammaan’ means to honour, the uniquely styled ‘Hom(e)age’ indicates the homage being paid right in ‘home’towns of theses icons. The Foundation has already taken up the project implementation in the villages of many prominent personalities from various parts of the country.

As part of the project, Babu Mool Chand Jain Training Centre has been established to provide trainings to youth aspiring to join forces, police services, and other similar jobs.
