ABOUT THE AWARDS

THE CSR TIMES AWARDS
CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE IN CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY!

The Companies Act, 2013, introduced by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, stands as one of the world’s largest and most ambitious efforts to mandate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), imposing statutory obligation on Companies to take up CSR projects towards social welfare activities and push sustainable development goals. Over time, CSR in India has evolved from being merely a legal mandate to becoming a commitment to building a better world.

Since its inception, CSR TIMES has been a steadfast advocate for recognizing and fostering CSR endeavors. Established in 2013, CSR Times has progressed with a singular mission to shine light on exemplary social responsibility efforts across India. 1st National CSR Summit and Awards in June, 2014, marked the beginning of this journey of what would become one of India’s most esteemed platforms for CSR recognition. Over the past 13 years, CSR Times has honored over 800 outstanding CSR projects and welcomed more than 5,000 delegates. Our events are graced by Governors, Chief Ministers, Bureaucrats, Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) heads, senior corporate and corporate foundation leaders, and international dignitaries.

CSR Times Awards span across 17 award categories that reflect and support all United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). These Goals provide the blueprint for a more sustainable future by 2030 and further aid to India’s vision of ViksitBharat@2047. Education, Healthcare , Skill Development, Women Empowerment, Eradication of Hunger & Poverty, Livelihoods, Water Conservation, Environment Stewardship, Rural & Infrastructure Development, Carbon Emission are few of the critical areas on which Corporates and NGOs are making deliberate efforts to drive a real change.

The eagerly anticipated 12th CSR TIMES Summit and Awards, scheduled for July 2025, will once again celebrate those who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to giving back to society, positively impacting lives, and championing noble causes.
The 12th edition of the National CSR Summit and CSR Times Awards underscores the crucial role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in shaping Viksit Bharat@2047, a visionary initiative that aspires to position India as a developed nation by the centenary of its independence. CSR continues to be a catalyst in bringing underprivileged sections onto equal footing with the rest of society through key initiatives in education, skill development, healthcare, sustainable livelihoods, economic inclusion, and infrastructure development, etc. to effect institutional welfare of self-reliant India.

We remain committed to ensuring that genuine CSR efforts receive the acknowledgment they deserve. Through our publication, CSR Times magazine, and active presence on social media platforms, we continue to spotlight these initiatives, ensuring they receive the visibility and recognition they merit
